Meet Tyler Bissell – Odin Disc Golf Ambassador 2026

We're excited to welcome Tyler Bissell to the Odin Disc Golf ambassador lineup for the 2026 season. Based in Oregon, Tyler is a dedicated competitor, a natural teacher, and a firm believer that disc golf is best when it's part of a well-rounded life.

Competitive Roots, Community Heart

Tyler competes under PDGA #64505 and plays both competitive and recreational rounds. He's planning to compete in 15–20 events in 2026, traveling a wide circuit from Oregon to Montana — putting in the miles and the rounds to keep pushing his game forward.

But for Tyler, it's never just about the scorecard. He genuinely enjoys helping new players find their footing — watching someone improve their form, gain confidence, and fall in love with the sport is just as rewarding as a tournament finish.

What's in the Bag

Tyler's go-to disc is the Discmania LINK — a versatile, reliable choice that reflects his measured, consistent approach to the game. When you see Tyler step up to the tee, expect a smart, controlled throw over raw power every time.

Favorite Course

Ask Tyler where he loves to play most and the answer is clear: Black Butte Ranch in Sisters, Oregon. Nestled in the high desert of Central Oregon with stunning Cascade Mountain views, it's a course that matches Tyler's appreciation for the full experience disc golf has to offer — not just the competition, but the setting, the atmosphere, and the people.

Balance Is Everything

One of the things that sets Tyler apart is his philosophy on the game. He believes in balancing disc golf with other hobbies and interests — a mindset that keeps the sport fun, sustainable, and meaningful for the long haul. It's an outlook that makes him a great role model for players at any level.

Why Odin

Tyler's combination of competitive drive, coaching instincts, and grounded perspective makes him a natural fit for the Odin family. Whether he's grinding through a tournament in Montana or introducing a first-timer to the sport back home in Oregon, he represents what Odin Disc Golf stands for.

We're proud to have Tyler on the team for 2026. Follow his season as he travels the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
